Why Keep It Clear
Keep It Clear is Anglian Water’s pioneering, transformational behaviour change programme tackling pollution and flooding caused by avoidable sewer blockages.
Just a few of our community events
The Keep it Clear programme, launched in 2011, has inspired and enabled communities to engage with the issue of blocked pipes and make a real difference.
We use local, trusted and known ‘voices’ within the community to spread awareness of our Keep it Clear programme.
We’re always out and about in the community sharing interesting stories, why not follow us socially and stay connected.
Well done to our fantastic staff who raised £1,000 for @deafblinkuk at the Dodgeball Charity Tournament in Peterborough yesterday! Great work and congratulations on making it all the way to the semi-finals 👏🏽 🤾🏽♂️🏅 https://t.co/jp3pZrdNMq
Today is Blue Monday, for some it is one of the lowest days of the year as the cold weather and the post Christmas bank balance start to bite.
We know that sometimes people might need extra support. Some customers find it hard to keep up with their bills, while others might need practical everyday help. That’s where Lauraine and Steve in our Extra Care team can help.
We understand that bills aren’t always the first thing on your mind. If you’re recovering from an illness, or going through other life changes affecting your finances, we want you to feel like you can talk to us about it.
We can work out payment plans or switch you to a tariff that’s a better fit. As a first port of call, you can get in touch with the specially-trained staff in our Extra Care team on 0800 169 3630 so we can look at ways to help.
Or our Extra Care Assessment is available, to help us understand your exact needs. Find out more or fill it in at anglianwater.co.uk/extra-care-assessment
Once again we’re pushing the boundaries of engineering innovation as we begin a trial using fibre optic cables to detect leaks 👷🏼♀️👷🏽💧The technology has the potential to continually monitor pipelines for leaks by creating thousands of virtual sensors along the section of pipeline being monitored. Working with our partners Kier and CRALEY Group we’re exploring every avenue of engineering available to us to continually be better and technology like this could revolutionise our ability to meet tough targets. Over the last five years we’ve invested £120million in driving down leakage, and we’re working towards further reduction of over 15% by 2025 📉
